Cottages Tucked away in the middle of a River! This property is a labour of love with spacious interiors, a manmade lake, floating canopies and so much more. I was nothing but surprised to find this hidden gem, so close to Mumbai & Pune. Now when they said it's an Island Resort, I did not visualise such beautiful Cottages built on an actual Island. The Resort is beautifully nestled in the middle of the River.

When I reached there all I could see was a parking space, a stone pathway then unveils a ferry which takes you to this not so little island. Riverside Cottage is a little elevated and looks like a beautiful treehouse. Quaint wooden Cottage with 4 Poster Bed, a swing in the living room, Glass ceiling bathrooms, antiques that make you stop and stare and oh!! the balcony opens to a River view with a backdrop of Lemon and strawberry gardens.

You can ride a bicycle and wander around while listening to the bird's chirp or spend some lazy afternoons on the hammocks, see some ducks running around and listen to their 'quack quack' which is weirdly the cutest sound I have ever heard. For some adventure, I signed up for the Tractor ride and felt that little village magic that we all should feel once in a while.

The Closest you are to Nature is the closest you can ever be to yourself.
