By Road 

If you are taking a car and wish to drive from Bangalore to Kabini then you need to travel via Mysore which is the shortest route to reach Kabini. This way it takes about 4 to 5 hours to reach your destination. 

By train 

Mysore is the nearest railway station to Kabini which is still about 70 km from the main town. So you need to get a bus from here to reach Kabini. 

By bus 

Both Private and State buses are available between Kabini and the main city of Bangalore. It takes about 4 to 5 hours to reach one’s destination.

By Car 

There are two routes which can take one from Mumbai to Mahabaleshwar. The NH 66 highway and the Mumbai Pune Expressway. While the latter is longer, by NH 66 you can reach your destination in about 5 hours. 

By train 

There is no railway station present at Mahabaleshwar hence, one needs to get off at Satara Railway Station first. This is about 70 km from Mahabaleshwar. You will find buses and rental taxis from here. 

By flight 

You can also take a flight from Mumbai to Mahabaleshwar if you want. Lohegaon Airport in Pune is the closest to here you again need to travel by road to reach Mahabaleshwar.
