Great place for Birthday or Anniversary Celebrations !

In my longing for a hidden jewel, I had found this Mountain Resort and felt a spark. You know the connection that you feel with certain things intuitively whether it’s with some people, things, movies or places. The pictures and the promise looked very exhilarating. Nobody told me about the drive though, which blew me away. Majestic mountains and winding roads with cosy chai and corn wallahs at comfortable intermittent gaps.

Reach the property and feel like you are in a different land. City escape will now get real. The rooms are very spacious, ample room to walk around for adults to feel like kids and kids to not feel clamped up. The view is either of the Mulshi dam or the mountains and how do you take this view in…Well, you have a rather large Balcony with each room unlike the namesake balconies in cities. You know the Bougainvillea Cottage where I stayed is literally at the base of a mountain. You see this mountain right at the beginning of this Video (Video on the Banner on top). Did you watch it? I assure you that this beautiful mountain exists just the way you see it and is not any special effect. ;-) This was shot in the month of September when the monsoons were receding.

The interior is a blend of comfort and quaint things like the large four poster beds and mirror; Quaintness also in the Property with the likes of old statues from Mahabalipuram. What I described to you above are my memories and connection with the Property. If you too want to come back with memories and build an asset class to the balance sheet of your life which doesn’t have a depreciation value, you are welcome! You are blissful when you feel connection, isn’t it?

By the way if you are only three hours away, unaware of this divine land and reading this right now, it must be a divine sign from the Universe!

Enjoy the scenic drive to the Resort

Most people go up to Mulshi and return, but you have to enjoy the beautiful winters and the monsoon rains here. Huge mountain cliffs stared down the verdant green everywhere. During the monsoon, the rains start a number of waterfalls gushed down the mountains. You can’t see it or feel it anywhere else!

Experience at the property
Staying here at the Mountain Resort, has been one of the finest experiences. The polite staff makes you feel at home. It has an amazing view of mulshi dam. The property is very well maintained with a swimming pool and a man-made pond inside the property. The rooms are quite spacious with very beautiful ambience.
Highlight of the property
For me the highlight of this place is the food they serve you, Delicious with a widespread buffet menu. Another highlight is the gorgeous scenic view it has to offer.
Things that can be improved
One thing I feel which can be improved are the lights in the property. It really gets dark at night and I won’t say the lights are less but can be increased to make it more brighter. They can even start dinners by the pool at night. A full moon night and dinner by the pool will be ever so memorable!
Tip
Best time to visit is the monsoon with the fog over the mountains and the dam. Winters are also the good time to visit this place as it gets really pleasant. The road is a bit bumpy to reach but it is a scenic drive. It is 175 kms from Mumbai and 50 kms from Pune.

It fits well with all the travellers be it family or a group of friends or even couples.

Rooms here are beautiful, could see Mulshi dam from balcony. Just cannot forget it Highly recommend the Maharaja room. Yuyiii surprised us with a cake for our anniversary celebration. Would love to book with you guys again.

Cancellation Policy

Amount once paid will be not refundable. But adjustable fully in next booking within 2 Months, if informed 10 days prior to your Check-In date. If the booking is cancelled on the same day then it won’t be adjustable or refundable. If informed 9 days prior – 10% Retention charges on room tariff. If informed 7 days prior – 20% Retention charges on room tariff. If informed 5 days prior – 30% Retention charges on room tariff. If informed 2 days prior – 50% Retention charges on room tariff. Please Note: Cancellations on the same day as well as 2 Days prior will not be accepted and full retention on Advance amount will be applicable.

Yuyiii understands that sometimes Life has other plans. Do not worry! For any Rescheduling, we are always here to help you with a minimum charge of 500/-
