Temple Trails:

Alappuzha is a fantastic destination for temple hikes. See the Shiva and Kanichukulangara Devi temples at Marari Alleppey, two well-known spiritual sites that are located near the resort. The great sage Villimanglam Swami is credited with founding the ancient Shiva Temple at Marari Alleppey, which is believed to have been there for at least 700 years. Another serene place to honor the goddess is the Kanichukulangara Devi Temple close to Cherthala.
