Situated on the tranquil backwaters of Kabini Dam, Kabini Riverside Retreat welcomes guests with a gorgeous lakefront outdoor pool and lovely cottages complete with personal hot tubs for relaxation. The lavish cabins feature a sofa for relaxing and a TV with cable channels. In addition, guests have a patio where they may enjoy the view. Private bathrooms are spacious and have both hot and cold showers.

Visitors can make use of the business center and choose from a variety of spa treatments. In addition, Kabini Riverside Retreat provides room for storing luggage and washing facilities. The tour bureau can organize nature walks and safari trips. Poshini Restaurant combines continental and Indian food with an outside theme. At the bar, guests can also partake in alcoholic beverages.

The Tibetan Monastery is 21 miles from the resort, while the well-known Bale Elephant Camp is 15 miles away. It is 37 miles to the Mysore Railway Station. The resort has luxury cottage room types. These rooms are perfect for families, couples, and friends.

What We Love

Responsible Tourism:

The red mud used in the construction of their houses at Kabini was originally unearthed. In addition, they built the cottages out of rammed earth, making almost all of the materials utilized for the houses environmentally sustainable. Additionally, they used locally produced Athangudi tile for the floors, supporting the local artisans.

Swimming Pool:

The resort has a rectangular-shaped pool that faces the lake which provides you with beautiful views while you swim and have some fun in the pool.

Dining:

Their family-friendly organic eatery is called Poshini. Most of the cuisine is Indian and reflects the locality they are in to please everyone's palates.

Bar:

The Wetlands Bar is an island bar on the property that has a wrap-around verandah and is next to a body of water. The bar is a place to relax, enjoy fantastic music, socialize with people from all over the world, or just kick back with a book or a game of snooker.

Cafe:

Situated on one end of the property, the Wonky Monkey cafe is housed on a deck that provides an expansive view of the Kabini. Its position and ambiance are unparalleled, whether it's for its stargazing, dining under the sky, or its view of the vast backwater.

Unique Experiences/Activities

Jungle Safari:

Take an open-top jeep safari in the Nagarhole National Park, making sure to have your cameras ready so you can see every angle of the bush.

Chorus Walk:

Do you think you understand bird calls? You will get the opportunity to attempt direct communication with the birds during their early morning bird-watching session. Kabini is a birder's paradise, with about 300 species of avifauna, many of which are native to the area.

Spa:

Visit their on-site spa, Zvaasthi, to de-stress, treat yourself, and indulge your senses. Their employees have professional training and they make all of their products using only natural components.

Water Activities:

Take a chance on some adventure in Kabini's backcountry. Take a coracle trip around the river's waters, just like the natives do.
