Story of the Stay:

The Herald House is an English-style Villa located in Lonavala. The lavish English-style villa sits on a spacious 20000 sq. ft estate and is a 1.5-hour drive from Pune. The Villa features a Pool, Gazebo, Lawn, and Cabana elevating your staying experience. This Villa can be the ideal stop for those looking for a weekend getaway or a staycation with friends and family.

This five-bedroom luxurious pool villa can accommodate around 15 guests, the ambience is well-suited for intimate celebrations and occasions. You can organise birthday parties, anniversary celebrations, engagement ceremonies, and wedding events at the Herald Villa. This stay is ideal for family gatherings, friends’ reunions, bachelorettes, bridal showers, and other special milestones. The pool, gazebo, and Cabana serve as the best recreational spots.

An expansive green lawn welcomes you as you enter and the Verandah on the side takes you inside the English Villa. The stay houses an elegant living room and two bedrooms on the ground floor. The staircase leads you to the other three rooms with ensuite bathrooms, and adjoining balconies overlooking the serene lawn and gazebo. The swimming pool with a Gazebo is in the backyard of the stay.

What we Love:

Food:

The Herald House offers its guests an excellent fine dining experience. The in-house chef prepares delicious home-cooked meals using fresh and locally sourced ingredients. The Villa serves both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options as well. Four meals are offered including breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner. Tea/ Coffee is served with breakfast and in the evening with snacks if the guests would like tea/coffee during any time of the day, it will be offered at additional charges. North-Indian, South-Indian, and local cuisines are provided. The stay has a standard set menu, however, given the 24-hour lead time, they prepare meals as per the guests’ preferences.

Breakfast:

Bread, Butter & Jam Tea/ Coffee Hot/ Cold milk Seasonal Fresh Fruits Eggs to order ( Bhurji, Omlete, Sunny Side Up, Scrambled) along with two Indian breakfast dishes.

Lunch:

Veg Meal – 1 Veg dry + 1 Veg gravy + Bread + 1 Rice + 1 Dal + 1 Dessert OR Non-Veg - 1 Veg dry + 1 Non veg gravy + Bread + 1 Rice + 1 Dal + 1 Dessert

Dinner:

Apart from the above-mentioned items, the guests can choose their meals from the wide range of menu.

Staff:

The staff is very cordial and welcoming at the Herald House, they are multi-lingual, so the guests can communicate with them at ease. A caretaker is always available on-site to assist the guests with anything they need. The staff prioritise the satisfaction and comfort of the guests. The Herald House is hailed for its hospitality which you must experience.

Lawn:

The well-manicured lawns are great to spend your lazy afternoons. The lawns also have outdoor furniture where you can sit and take in the surrounding picturesque views. The expansive lawn is ideal to set up a cute picnic, a brunch date, finish your long-pending reading list, meditate, or simply sip a strong cup of tea in the evenings. Your special events can also be organised in the lawn area.

Pool:

Staycations are all about fun and recreation, the pool gives you both! You can take a refreshing dip at the pool or organise a pool party where you can have the best time with your friends and family. The dimensions of the pool are 24*12 feet. The pool is 4.5 feet deep. Pool timings are between 9 am to 7 pm. The water is chlorinated and you can straightaway plunge into the pool carefree. Kids would love the pool time and parents can spend quality time with them during this Staycation.

Evenings at the Herald House call for lip-smacking Barbeque. The stay makes arrangements for barbeque nights. Barbeque night with friends and family is fun. Barbeque has vegetarian and non-vegetarian options you can relish with your loved ones.

Bonfire:

As the cool evening sets in and the sun goes down, the Herald House is lit up with the blazing bonfire. Friends and family gather around the warm fire and that’s where the fun and frolic begin. If you’re celebrating any of your special occasions with the Herald House or you want to dance the night away, then the stay arranges for a DJ night.
