Homestays have my heart. And this one is no exception. All Authentic experience when it comes to Food & Stay here. Rustic Cottages, Tents amidst Pepper & Cinnamon Trees And Yes One of its Kind Treehouse tells you how diverse your stay can be here. From the blankets to the cutleries every little thing is local too.

Secluded Homestay is the ancestral home of the hosts – Medha and Vasudha Sahasrabudhe. Medha is an Architect and it has been her conscious effort to keep the true local essence of this homestay. Cottages are made of red laterite stones, unique to this region. Simple home-cooked meals are made with fresh and organic farm produced crops. Local Konkanstha Brahmin food is served here with red rice, a healthy variant. My favourite was the Modak of course. That's one reason I keep coming back here. The other reason is the lifetime relationship I have made with Medha & her beautiful homestay.

Secluded Homestay keeps the local experience alive, one that brings a difference. This is one such property that will stay with you.

Nidhi and Medha bonded over everything Travel & Passion. Medha's entrepreneurial journey inspired Nidhi so much that she stole her for a nice Storytelling Session. She is an architect by profession. It has been her effort to keep everything local & natural right from the Construction of the Homestay. The cottages are made from Red laterite Stones that are very rustic & unique. When you are here, make it a point to have a little chat with Medha.

Experience at the property
Honestly, I felt like a true local here. There KonkanSatha Brahman meals were all savoured by me till the last bite.
Highlight of the property
You can bring your Furry Friends along to experience the Village life. You can sign up for many activities like modak making, Swimming in the nearby River or the pottery workshop, make your own Mug!
Things that can be improved
Medha had a lovely Treehouse, completely one of its kind which is not there anymore. We want that back.
Tip
It is a Homestay and not a Resort. You are a guest in someone's home. So Please go with the right expectations.
Suitable for
Travellers, not tourists, families & friends who want to spend quality time chatting under the stars, anyone who is looking for an Immersive experience.

An experience I would never forget. I stayed here for 2 nights with my family and it was just something different. A homestay full of love with kind people all around you. Food was again so fresh and yummy. Do try the modaks! Maharashtrian flavours on your plate. Yuyiii good job at handpicking such properties that make you feel something, thank you for this experience.

More than 15 days prior to check in - 15% will be deducted from the amount.

15-7 Days prior to check in - 20% will be deducted from the amount.

Yuyiii understands that sometimes Life has other plans. Do not worry! For any Rescheduling/Cancellation, we are always here to help you with a minimum charge of 500/-

For Confirmed Booking during Blackout dates/Festive period/Long weekend, cancellation is not possible.
