Steeped in history, Heritage Coorg Estates boasts a legacy dating back to 1864. Lieutenant Colonel W.R. Wright, a founding member of the Coorg Planters Association, transformed the 200-acre estate from a wild jungle to a flourishing coffee plantation. The 60-year old property remained with his family until 1964, serving as both a productive estate and a cherished family home. The current owners, the Thaikappa family, have continued this tradition for over 50 years, preserving the estate's heritage while ensuring modern-day comforts within the elegant confines of the Heritage Coorg Estates. This vantage point lodge offers a breathtaking vista of the surrounding mountains and valleys, while the individually named rooms, each dedicated to a Wright family member, pay homage to the estate's rich past. The one of a kind boutique resort , an elegant example of British architecture, is surrounded by a large English garden and acres of verdant plantation and woodlands.
